2016 Guide to Free Music

There's no better way to relax after a day on the river than listening to sweet melodies in the great outdoors! The Roaring Fork Valley is unique in its accessibility to outdoor music somewhere in the Valley practically everyday of the week. Locals and visitors alike love these outdoor jamin' events. Rain or shine, you're guaranteed to find smiling picnickers and dancers abound.

Steeldrivers, Wanderlust Snowmass 2015

Visit Snowmass on Thursday evenings for the amazing free concert series, featuring guests like Taj Mahal, Steel Pulse, Chali 2Na, and a variety of other well known musicians.

Enjoy music at the top of Aspen Mountain, with views of the majestic continental divide, at the free bluegrass series every Sunday at noon, beginning June 19th. 

If you're feeling adventurous, join the Down Valley locals in Basalt (Wednesday evenings), Carbondale (Sunday evenings) or Glenwood Springs (Wednesday evenings for more musical opportunities and the chance to check out the amazing landscape and local communities the valley has to offer.
